The End of the Project

The Instability in Stability Performance Series 2011 has come to a close after an intense 3 months of archiving, documenting and performing in the loft. However, this is by no means the end of the project!

Over the course of the next months all documentation from the performances (live stream recordings, skype calls, writing, photographs, etc.) will be reviewed and the whole archive will slowly, slowly be digitalised and mapped into an online archive portal. This is intended to provide everyone with open access to the documentation they helped to catalogued, whilst letting others see what/whose interaction(s) influenced the decisions that took place within the loft. As this will be a long process, do keep checking in to see how Noel and I are progressing and to add any comments you have to blog posts and documentation feeds.

In the meantime I would like to say a huge thankyou to everyone who took part, from the silent witnesses to the regular viewers, to the Sister Projects artists; you have all played a vital and interesting role in the work and I am extremely grateful for you sharing your time, memories, experiences, thoughts, ideas, creativity, archives, bodies, and spirits.

I am now away for two weeks but from the 1st October the Sister Projects artists will meet again to consider how the broadcasts may continue under a different guise away from the loft. If anyone would like to suggest a broadcasting event or to participate please write to the ‘sister artists’ via the Contact page.

If you are interested in finding out more about the Instability in Stability project visit the about section on the website, or if you would like to visit the archive (either virtually or physically) you can still book appointments.

Happy Archiving!
